My first solo Exhibition since 2017 will be held at Derby Museum and Art Gallery.

My charcoal drawings and monotypes will be displayed in two adjacent galleries.

Gallery 1 Human head portraits. These are not portraits of particular people, rather they are an investigation into human feelings and emotions and the human condition.

Gallery 2 Myths. These works were begun a few years before my portrait heads and are drawings and monotypes with a mythological theme that includes humans, horses, minotaurs and a wrecked ship. These works grew out of a search for an imaginary landscape space.
